Welcome to the 23rd season of the Mark Cresse School of Baseball. Back in 1984, my partner Jeff Pressman and I founded our unique training program. We began with 140 ballplayers and one camp site and have since grown to our current six camp sites and nearly 2,000 ballplayers in 2007. More importantly, as the competition has increased, we have become the Southern California's most respected baseball camp because parents understand the true value and quality of the program we offer.

With the ending of my Dodger coaching career in 1998, I now devote my full energy to the number one passion in my life - coaching and impacting children's lives. Baseball coaching is developing self-esteem and self-confidence that influences not only performance on the baseball field, but all phases of a child's life. Every child at the Mark Cresse School of Baseball begins on an even playing field. It doesn't matter if they are a future major leaguer or a beginner just learning how to throw and catch. The true reward I have received over the past 2 2 years is knowing that campers are going home happy, looking forward to attending the next day, and learning that dedication and hard work makes you feel good about yourself.

For new families who have never attended our program, let me briefly explain the primary reason for our success and reputation - the Cresse Coaching Staff. Every coach at the Mark Cresse School of Baseball dedicates their life to coaching young men and developing their talents. Many are parents who understand the anxieties other parents have in placing the care of their children in the hands of others. They are coaches with the sensitivity and patience to coach younger, less experienced ballplayers. We would like you to feel that when you join the Cresse Family, you will receive the personal care and attention to meet your child's individual needs and concerns. If a problem occurs or a question needs answering, our phone lines are always open and we will do everything in our power to make your child's camp experience the most positive of their life.
